NUEVA ECIJA LGU AWARD LIVELIHOOD KIT TO FORMER CTG SUPPORTERS 

Mushroom Production Livelihood Starter Kit were distributed recently by local government of Licab, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion to the Former Communist Affiliated Mass Organization (CAMO) and now as “Bagong Pag-asa Farmers Association” a Pro-Government and registered Peoples Organization (PO).
FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – In collaboration with the local government of Licab, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion. The Former Communist Affiliated Mass Organization (CAMO) and now as “Bagong Pag-asa Farmers Association” a Pro-Government and registered Peoples Organization (PO) was awarded with a Mushroom Production Livelihood Starter Kit here June 20, 2022 at Barangay San Jose, Licab, Nueva Ecija. 
 
Through guidance and support of the 84IB, the former CAMO withdrew their support to the CTG last August 08, 2020 and pledged to support the government for peace and development initiative. The said Barangay is also a beneficiary of the Support to Barangay Development Program of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC). 
 
Municupal Mayor Eufemia Domingo together with the 84IB Commanding officer by LIEUTENANT COLONEL ENRICO GIL C ILETO, and  Juanito A Santiago, Barangay Chairman handed-over the Mushroom Production Livelihood Kit; 1 unit shredder machine, 1 unit repacking machine, four pieces of drums, three dozen plastic bags, three kilos of rubber bands, 1000 pieces of fruiting bags, 18 pieces of PVC pipes to the Bagong Pag-asa Farmers Association. 
 
On his statement LTC ILETO expressed his utmost support for the success of the organization’s endeavor.  “Pagyamanin natin ang ating organization at palakasin natin, marami po kayong challenges na haharapin dito dahil meron na kayong business at this time, kami po sa Philippine Army, ang amin pong dasal ay maging successful po ang inyong bagong endeavor na ito na hopefully ay makatulong maigi para sa inyong kinabukasan para maging mas matiwasay po ang ating kabuhayan dito sa inyong nasasakupan”, Ltc Ileto said.
 
Meanwhile, the Commander of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, MGEN ANDREW D COSTELO commended the accomplishment of 84IB and the local government of Licab. “I would like to extend my gratitude to the local government of Licab for the utmost support to our troops and to the former CTG supporter. We are here to embrace you as you start a new and peaceful life, we are glad to help you as you start your new journey with the government. “
