N. Ecija farmers laud PA’s medical mission

GOOD JOB. Philippine Army’s medical mission held on November 8, 2022 was lauded by farmers from Guimba, Nueva Ecija.

FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – Farmers were all thanks and laud the Army in conducting a medical and dental mission that benefitted more than a hundred farmers and their families. The happiness of the farmers stemmed from the joint Medical and Dental Civic Action Program (MEDCAP) of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division (7ID) and 3rd Regional Community Defense Group (3RCDG), Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM), Philippine Army (PA) held in Barangay Yuson, Guimba, Nueva Ecija on November last 08, 2022.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with the 301st Community Defense Center, 3RCDG, ARESCOM and 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion (84IB), Fort Magsaysay Army Station and Forward Support Medical Company of Service Support Battalion, 7ID, PA.

According to Retired Major General Fernando V Felipe Philippine Army, Former Commander of ARESCOM, PA, similar joint medical missions are conducted throughout the country on a regular basis to help the less fortunate.

The beneficiaries were given free medical examination, medicines, dental check-up, tooth extraction, circumcision and free haircut service. The participants also received free food and snacks from the “Laang Kawal Mobile Kusina” of ARESCOM, PA.

Meanwhile, the Civil-Military Operation Officer of 84IB, First Lieutenant Arnold A Quiñon assured that the 84thIB will continue to support all partner stakeholders in the delivery of basic services to the most vulnerable sectors.

Meanwhile, Major General Andrew D. Costelo, Commander of 7ID said, “As a bridge of the government to the local community, the Kaugnay Division through its line units with the collaboration of concerned government agencies will provide services and man-power to the populace to lift their morale and welfare”.
