
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – More than ₱1 million worth of suspected shabu was seized, while several high-value individuals (HVIs) were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Bulacan and Pampanga on April 23, 2026.
In Baliwag City, Bulacan, two listed HVIs were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted at around 7:40 PM in Brgy. Poblacion by joint operatives of the Baliwag City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit and PDEA Regional Office 3.
Recovered from the suspects were around 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱340,000.00 along with a caliber .22 revolver and ammunition.
In a separate operation in Angeles City, Pampanga at around 8:10 PM, two more listed HVIs were arrested by joint elements of the Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Police Station 2, and PDEA Pampanga along Miranda St. Extn., Brgy. Sta. Trinidad.
Confiscated during the operation were approximately 105 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱714,000.00
All confiscated items were properly inventoried in the presence of required witnesses. The arrested suspects are now under police custody, while appropriate charges are being prepared for filing.
PRO3 Director PBGEN Jess B Mendez commended the operating units for their coordinated and intelligence-driven operations.
“These successful operations reflect our firm commitment to the PNP Focused Agenda of the Chief, PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr particularly in intensifying the campaign against illegal drugs and ensuring the safety of our communities. Coordination with PDEA and other partners will continue to be strengthened to sustain high-impact operations against high-value targets,” RD Mendez said.
He further emphasized that PRO3 will remain relentless in its efforts to dismantle drug networks and hold offenders accountable.
“There is no safe space for illegal drug activities in Central Luzon. Operations will be pursued with discipline, integrity, and consistency to protect our communities and uphold public trust,” he added.
