ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on Oct. 3, 2023 led the media presentation of the 19 official candidates of Mutya Ning Angeles 2023 at the Best Western Hotel, where he noted the pageant as a celebration of beauty, camaraderie, and resiliency.
The prestigious pageant is a priority project of Mayor Lazatin, which is being co-presented by Beautéderm Corporation headed by President and Chief Executive Officer Rei Anicoche-Tan for the fourth year in a row.
The coronation night is set on Nov. 30, 2023 at the Grand Palazzo Royale where a total of ₱1.5 million in prizes will be given to the grand winner, of which ₱500,000 will be Beautéderm products and BeautéHaus services.
Fo the runners up, prizes are as follows — ₱200,000 (First Runner-Up); ₱150,000 (Second Runner-Up); ₱100,000 (Third Runner-Up); and ₱50,000 (Fourth Runner-Up) cash prizes, respectively.
“It is with a proud heart and honor that we introduce you the set of ladies, vying for the title of Mutya Ning Angeles 2023,” Lazatin said.
Among the the candidates are Angelica Casandra M. Santos (Agapito Del Rosario), Ehjewon Apuya (Anunas), Glaiza V. Solis (Balibago),Kathleen Joy A. Rivera (Capaya), Genica Mae J. Cruz (Cutcut), Carla Keith S. Canlas (Lourdes Northwest), Yvonne Denise David (Lourdes Sur), Rachelle Marie H. Memije (Malabanias), Macy Venus G. Gerola (Malabanias), Elle Chantei T. Mendoza (Mining), Glennice Turla (Ninoy Aquino), Zyline Joy Zapanta (Pampang), Micaella Shane V. Cuenco (Pandan), Aegie B. Dichoso (Pulung Cacutud), Glezette D. Garcia (San jose), Frankie Samantha A. Hicban (Sta. Teresita), Cherry Tiffany P. Calaguas (Sta. Trinidad), Jeremy Nicole B. Aquino (Tabun), and Angel Faith M. Hinaut (Tabun).
Lazatin also thanked Anicoche-Tan of Beautéderm for always supporting the pageant, as well as the major sponsors including, Best Western Hotels and Resorts, Angeles University Foundation, Prime City Resort Hotel, Giada’s Group of Companies, G Café, SM City Clark, and Grand Palazzo Royale.
The minor sponsors and patron of MNA meanwhile are Fil Choice Meat Products RMM, Doeidep, Rockwell Nepo, Metro Clark Waste, and Lalamove, and Bharz Kitchen and BK Food and Refreshment, respectively.
Further, Lazatin also recognized the dedication and efforts of the MNA committee who ensures the smooth flow and success of the lined up of activities before the coronation night.
The committee is headed by Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and Chief Adviser IC Calaguas.
