Prominent political leaders of Marikina City expressed all out support to the presidential bid of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso as they underscored his political will and global competence as shown in his brand of leadership in the nation’s capital City of Manila.
In a community service activity, spearheaded by Ikaw Muna (IM) Pilipinas, the national volunteer organizing group of Yorme Isko Moreno, in Marikina former local chief executive Del R. de Guzman along with city councilors Xyza Diazen Santos, Mark Albert del Rosario and Erning Flores issued a unified statement of support for Moreno saying that his “Bilis Kilos” brand of leadership that has the right skill set, the real concern for the people and most of all fear of God makes him the perfect leader to lead and unite the nation for the next six years.
The former mayor of the country’s shoe capital even thanked Yorme Isko Moreno for the effort to reach out to the people at the barangay level thru IM Pilipinas to provide livelihood and offer a sustainable source of income to support their families.
The activity, which includes candle-making and dishwashing liquid production, is a weekly effort which is part of IM PIlipinas’ “Bilis Kilos Mobile Team” program that is focused on reaching out to Filipinos across the country. The program also has “ISKOwentuhan sa Barangay” wherein a casual consultation is being made to get the actual sentiments and needs of the people at the grassroots level.
All are part of Yorme Isko Moreno Domagoso’s efforts to uplift the lives of the Filipinos and achieve a sustainable and inclusive national economic growth.
Community leader and Mothers Glee founding president Annie Candidato for her part thanked Moreno and IM Pilipinas for implementing the project that she said could help them recover from the effects of the Covid19 pandemic.
She also expressed high hopes that Moreno could offer a better life for all especially the underprivileged.
IM Pilipinas secretary general Elmer Argaño assured that the group will continue to implement the Bilis Kilos Mobile Team program and reach more people.
Similar activities were also done in other provinces and key cities across the country that include Cagayan de Oro, La Union, Rizal, Cagayan Province and Taguig, among others.
