LAZATIN LAUDS ACPO FOR ARREST OF SUSPECTS IN STUDENT’S SLAYING

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has lauded the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) for the arrest of two suspects behind the slaying of 18-yr old Grade 12 student Juana Mae Maslang of Jesus St., Purok 4, Brgy. Pulungbulu, Angeles City, on Friday evening.
The suspects identified as Val Rinon Cahanding and Japanie Torbeles were arrested on Saturday at the same street where the crime was committed.
Police Station 1 Commander Major Alfred R. Andal said a kitchen knife and blood stained T-shirts were recovered in one of the suspect’s house.
Charges are now being readied against the suspects at the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
