FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – The Kaugnay Division conducted its 3rd 7ID-Wide Simultaneous Blood Letting Activity on September 11, 2022 at Fort Magsaysay Covered Court, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
The activity was participated by the different line units of 7ID, Aspirant Soldiers, CAA personnel, Stakeholders, and partner institutions to accumulate blood bags that will be used not only by the troops but also those in need by the community.
The Bloodletting activity is part of the Memorandum of Agreement between the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division and Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay Incorporated (DADBI) signed last March 29, 2022.
Likewise, the success of the 1st 7ID-Wide Simultaneous Blood Letting Activity last March 29, 2022 collected 849 Blood bags, and the 2nd 7ID-Wide Simultaneous Blood Letting Activity held last June 12, 2022 where 995 Blood bags were accumulated.
The event’s success accumulated a total of 1,043 blood bags that will proceed in the different trusted facilities of respective units of 7ID partner hospitals to be kept and used in times it is needed.
In his message, Major General Andrew D Costelo, Commander of the 7ID expressed his gratitude to the President of DADBI and to other stakeholders who participated in the bloodletting activity.
“This activity is a symbolic moment to show the unity and cooperation of the Division and its stakeholders to help those who are in need and to extend someone’s life through our own blood. MGen Costelo added”.
