ILLEGAL DRUGS, DRUG DEALERS, AND LAW OFFENDERS ARRESTED

Camp Gen Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — An estimated two hundred forty-six thousand and eight hundred eighty pesos (Php 246.880.00) total worth of illegal drugs were seized where six  drug suspects, a wanted person, and one suspect during the implementation of a search warrant were arrested in anti-criminality operations on January 13 and 14, 2024.

PCol Relly Arnedo, provincial director of Bulacan PNP said that a successful drug sting operation by the Plaridel police station that took place in Brgy. Banga 2nd, Plaridel, Bulacan resulted to the confiscation of drugs and arrest of drug suspects.

Five  sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of about two hundred thirty-eight thousand pesos (Php 238,000.00), along with marked money, were confiscated.

The operation led to the prompt arrest of two  drug suspects.

Similarly, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Meycauayan and Hagonoy Police Station conducted separate drug buy-bust operations. A total of nine (9) sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of eight thousand eight hundred eighty pesos (Php 8,880.00) were confiscated, and four drug suspects were arrested.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects has been prepared for filing in court.

On the other hand, the suspect, a 54-year-old resident of Gulod 1, Brgy. San Jose Patag, Sta. Maria was arrested in a search warrant operation implemented by the operatives of Sta. Maria Police Station together with the Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.

Recovered were one (1) caliber.38 revolver without trademark with serial number 302745; three (3) ammunition for caliber .38 revolver; three (3) ammunition for caliber .45; one (1) magazine for 9 mm pistol; one (1) gun case for 9 mm Taurus Pistol bearing PT092151CAAB color black; one (1) leg holster color black; one (1) Squires Bingham air rifle with serial number 43015; one (1) CO2 tank; and one (1) plastic bottle containing air rifle pellets. The procedure was done in an orderly manner, as witnessed by barangay officials.

Meanwhile, a manhunt operation conducted by the tracker team of Marilao MPS resulted in the arrest of one (1) wanted person for violation of R.A. 9165 at Saog, Marilao, with a warrant of arrest issued by RTC, Br. 76 Malolos, Bulacan, dated October 20, 2023.
