Illegal drugs confiscated, 19 individuals arrested in Bulacan

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan cops carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs valued at 290k including the arrest of several drug dealers and lawbreakers on April 1, 2024, and early today.

In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Guiguinto PS conducted a successful sting operation that resulted in the arrest of alias Ferrie and alias Pate at around 4:50 a.m. of April 2, 2024, in Brgy. Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan. Confiscated from the suspects were three (3) sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 30.15 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 205,000 along with marked money.

Similarly, seventeen (17) additional drug dealers were apprehended in separate drug-bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Pulilan, San Jose Del Monte City, Hagonoy, Baliwag, Marilao, San Miguel City Police Station. These operations yielded a total of thirty-seven (37) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php 91,772 (SDP) and marked money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for filing in court.

Moreover, thirteen (13) individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the 1st PMFC, Guiguinto, CSJDM, Hagonoy, Calumpit, Meycauayan, Obando, Marilao, and Bocaue City Police Station. These individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
