ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., on March 7, 2022 distributed financial assistance to the 11 families affected by the recent fire in Barangay Malabanias.
“Maliit na halaga lamang po ito, pero sana makatulong para makapagsimula ang mga kababayan natin,” Mayor Lazatin said.
The city government, thru the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) headed by Edna Duaso, immediately checked on the situation of the fire victims last February during the fire incident and turned over food assistance, hygiene kits, banigs, and blankets to the residents, upon the order of Mayor Lazatin.
In this time of emergency, the city government wants its citizens to know that they are not alone and assistance will be provided to them, Mayor Lazatin said.
Also present during the distribution of financial assistance is Angeles City Tourism Officer Anneleen Sugui.
