Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — During enhanced police operations on September 7, 2023, Bulacan officers apprehended several felons wanted for various crimes and offenses, including drug dealers.

In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, in a successful track-down operation, the San Miguel and Norzagaray Police Stations arrested two felons. In Poblacion, San Miguel, Eufracio Dela Cruz Jr. from Sta. Ana, Bulakan, was apprehended for the crime of Statutory Rape (2 counts). Likewise, Andrie Azcarraga, a resident of Bangkal, Norzagaray, was arrested for the crime of Rape.

Moreover, operatives from CSJDM, Malolos City, Pulilan, Bulakan, and Meycauayan City PS arrested seven  more felons who were wanted for various crimes and offenses. The apprehension was carried out after the court issued a warrant of arrest against them.

Presently, all the accused are under the custody of the respective arresting units/stations for proper disposition.

In addition, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Rafael and Hagonoy PS carried out a drug buy-bust operation, resulting in the arrest of three (3) drug suspects. Ferdinand Bautista from Caingin, San Rafael, while Ramiro De Leon and Jobert De Jesus, both from Purok 6, Sagrada Familia, Hagonoy were all arrested. A total of six (6) sachets of suspected shabu and marked money were confiscated.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
