Drug suspect killed, 9 arrested in Bulacan

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — A suspect was neutralized while nine (9) others were arrested in the unrelenting police operations of Bulacan PNP on October 22, 2022.

 

Bulacan PNP OIC director Col. Relly Arnedo identified the neutralized suspect as Rene Redobla @Empoy of Brgy. Bignay, Valenzuela/Brgy. Perez, Meycauayan City, Bulacan.

 

Based on the report, after the consummated drug transaction, @Empoy became suspicious and sensed that he was dealing with a police poseur buyer and immediately drew his firearm towards the officer which prompted them to retaliate that resulted to @Empoy’s death. Recovered from the crime scene were two (2) fired cartridge case of .9mm, one (1) Smith & Wesson cal .38 revolver loaded with one (1) fcc and four (4) cartridges recovered near the left arm of suspect, one (1) medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, improvised glass pipe, digital weighing scale, disposable lighters, wrist watch, shade, one (1) one thousand peso bill and nine (9) boodle money, cash worth five hundred pesos, cellphone, unused transparent plastic sachet, one (1) leather sling bag and five peso coin.

 

Likewise, suspect identified as Regie Cruz @Gibo was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Ildefonso. Seized were three (3) sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.

 

Meanwhile, six (6) illegal gamblers were arrested in anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by the operatives of Malolos CPS. They were caught in the act of playing illegal card games. Confiscated were deck of cards and bet money in different denominations.

 

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being readied for filing in court.

 

On the other hand, two (2) persons wanted by law were arrested in separate manhunt operations by the tracker teams of Baliwag and Paombong MPS. They were identified as Herminio Bautista Jr of San Isidro 2, Paombong arrested for Violation of RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children); and Rhovin Christian Saavedra of Tarcan, Baliwag for the crime of Other Mischief. Both accused are presently under the custody of the arresting stations for proper disposition.
