Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Two drug peddlers and a wanted person were arrested by Bulacan Police on July 29, 2023.
Based on the reports to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, Pandi PS Drug Station Unit conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of Jeffry Amurao and Jan Russell Tabbu (both included in BADAC drug watchlist).
The two suspects were arrested after the consummated drug trade in Brgy. Poblacion, Pandi, Bulacan. Confiscated from them were three (3) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 1.2 grams and a standard drug price value of ten thousand two hundred (Php 10, 200.00) pesos and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, tracker team of San Ildefonso PS together with San Antonio MPS, Quezon PPO, PRO 4A arrested Rowel Naval Brioso with aliases of Jerico Brioso and Pipoy, wanted for the crime of Homicide. Arrested person will be brought to San Antonio MPS custodial facility for proper disposition.
The string of operations by Bulacan police are in adherence to the marching order of the Chief, PNP, to intensify, strengthen, and focus on the anti-criminality drive of the PNP, which was effectively made clear by the PRO 3 Director, PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr..
