The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Regional Office III officially launched its 2024 Inter Color Sportsfest with a parade featuring athletes representing six (6) team colors on March 18, 2024.
The event marks the eagerly awaited return of the sports fest, igniting excitement among employees who will compete in Men’s Basketball and separate Badminton tournaments for both men and women, with the festivities commencing with the blessing of the office’s new gymnasium led by Rev. Fr. Aljim M. Tuazon of Mother of Good Counsel Seminary in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
In his message, Regional Director Roseller Tolentino acknowledged the significance of recreation for employees and expressed gratitude to the organizers, particularly the managers of each team color, while Assistant Regional Director Melquiades Sto. Domingo shared his enthusiasm for the sporting event, marking its inaugural run in the new gymnasium.
The parade featuring team muses added to the heightened excitement, with Aila Garcia from the Red Team named Best Muse, outshining others.
