Gov. Daniel Fernando and Vice Gov. Alex Castro
The province of Bulacan once again showcased their excellence and mastery in public service resilience during the 2022 Gawad Timpukan Central Luzon held at the Widus Hotel, Clark, Pampanga on Monday.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) conferred five awards to the Provincial Government of Bulacan including the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children, Local Council for the Protection of Children, Local Government Support Fund-Support to Barangay Development Program 2021, Local Government Support Fund-Conditional Matching Grants to Province 2021 and the Seal of Good Local Governance.

Meanwhile, the cities of San Jose Del Monte and Baliwag, and the towns of Balagtas, Guiguinto, Plaridel and Pulilan also received the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund.

Further, according to DILG Usec. Mario L. Iringan, it’s because of every local government unit’s hardwork that they were able to present different awards to different outstanding local and regional top performers.

The Gawad Timpukan Central Luzon is the country’s recognition program that recognizes the excellence and championing public service resilience of different barangays, municipalities, cities and provinces nationwide.
