Bulacan Police bags 14 drug suspects, seizes P884K shabu

CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A total of eight hundred eighty-four thousand (Php 884,000.00) estimated value of shabu were seized in separate anti-drug operations conducted in Bulacan where 14 individuals were arrested on Friday and Saturday. 

PCol Charlie Cabradilla, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP identified the arrested suspect as Norhata Hassan of Bulihan, Silang Cavite.

He was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by joint elements of Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Malolos CPS and SOU3-PDEG in Brgy. Bulihan, City of Malolos, Bulacan at about 9:15PM of July 29, 2022.

Suspect was nabbed after selling a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to undercover police as pieces of evidences such as weighing scale, pouch, eleven (11) sachets of suspected shabu with estimated weight of more or less seventy (70) grams and DDB value of four hundred seventy-six thousand pesos (Php 476,000.00) and buy-bust money was confiscated in his possession.

Likewise, 3 suspects identified as Faisal Lawanza; Faisal Rampa; and Makakna Makaangon all residents of Fairview, Quezon City were arrested in anti-illegal drug operation conducted by operatives of Bulacan PIU-PDEU together with Guiguinto MPS and SOU3-PDEG in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Recovered were 14 sachets of shabu with estimated weight of sixty (60) grams and DDB value of four hundred eight thousand pesos (Php 408,000.00) and marked money. 

On the other hand, ten (10) more individuals were arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Balagtas, Bulakan, Malolos, San Rafael and SJDM with joint personnel of CDEU, SOU3 and PDEG. Confiscated were a total of twenty-three (23) sachets of suspected shabu, 1 brick & 3 sachets of dried marijuana leave, cigarette pack and buy-bust money.

The suspect and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination. Criminal complaints for Violation of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act) is now being prepared for filing in court.
