Bulacan PNP-OTBT yielded 136 firearms

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — The intensified police operation of Bulacan PNP dubbed as “One-Time Big Time (OTBT) Campaign on Loose Firearms” yielded a total of one-hundred thirty-six firearms of various types, ammunitions where twenty-eight  individuals were arrested that commenced on the midnight of September 8, 2022.

PCol Relly Arnedo, Officer-In-Charge, Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BUL PPO) said that in a series of drug-bust operation by the stations of Bocaue, Bulakan, Bustos, Malolos, Meycauayan, San Rafael and City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) and Angat PS led to the successful arrest of eleven drug dealers.

They were identified as Ernesto Magsino Jr.; Fidel Robles; Alexis Daracan; Joe Vernie Tolentino; Alvin Field; Rosemarie Apena; Analyn Bando; Jayson Vizconde; Jonathan Irenia; Peter Baldonado and Louie Mangabat.

Recovered were a total of 54 sachets of suspected shabu, five Cal. 38 revolvers , two Cal. 45 pistol, a 9mm pistol and one improvised ‘pen-gun’.

Moreover, in the Search Warrant implemented by Pandi PS in Malibong Matanda,Pandi led to the arrest of Niko Martin and Emerlyn Alcaraz for possession of twenty-five (25) sachets of suspected shabu and a Cal. 38 revolver.

Likewise, Guiguinto PS arrested Guillermo Islabra and Yukio Kawahara after a consummated drug trade and recovered three (3) sachets of suspected shabu and a hand grenade.

Similarly, buy-bust operation for selling illegal firearms by San Miguel PS and Provincial Intelligence Unit led to the arrest of the suspects identified as Edmond Viudez of San Miguel; Allan Dela Cruz of Meycauayan City; and Domingo Beloro of CSJDM. Recovered were three (3) units Caliber .38 Revolver and marked money.

Meanwhile, operatives of Hagonoy, Norzagaray, Marilao, San Miguel, and Meycauayan PS led to the arrest of ten (10) identified drug suspects during the anti-drug bust operations and recovery of (29) sachets of suspected shabu, (4) sachets of marijuana and marked money.

Further, in the total of 136 various firearms recovered, 16 were seized during police operations including a hand grenade, 108 were turned-over for safekeeping and 12 were voluntarily surrendered. All seized suspected illegal drugs were estimated at a total of Php 209,334.40 based on PNP-PDEA/ DDB value.
