Camp Gen Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Seven drug suspects, and two other wanted persons were arrested by Bulacan Police in different police operations conducted on July 13 and 14, 2024.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, in separate buy-bust operations conducted by Malolos and Meycauayan Police Station, five drug peddlers were arrested. Confiscated during the operations were a total of twenty-three plastic sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.
Moreover, in an Anti-Criminality Checkpoint Operation (Oplan-Sita) in Brgy. Agnaya, Plaridel, elements of Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company apprehended two (2) individuals for violations of Art. 151 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC), Republic Act (RA) 4136, R.A. 10054, and R.A. 9165. The suspects were riding a black Suzuki Smash 115 motorcycle when they attempted to evade a checkpoint by accelerating, which led them to lose control and fall. Confiscated were fifteen (15) heat-sealed sachets of suspected marijuana, the motorcycle, a bundle of plastic sachets, and Php 1,650.00 in cash.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, the tracker teams of San Miguel and Marilao Police Station, arrested two (2) wanted persons in separate manhunt operations. They were arrested for crimes of theft and robbery.
The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
