BULACAN PNP ARRESTS 2 DRUG SUSPECTS, 9 ILLEGAL GAMBLERS

CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — As the 4th day of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) in Bulacan continues to intensify, two drug suspects and nine illegal gamblers were arrested including the recovery of firearms on March 24, 2022.

PCol Rommel Ochave, Acting Provincial Director Bulacan PPO said that two individuals were arrested during the implementation of Search Warrant conducted by operatives of Meycauayan City.

They were identified as Josielyn Bañola of Bignay, Valenzuela City and Ivan Tacbo of Pandayan, Meycauayan City, they were caught in the act while using illegal drugs (shabu) inside the house subject to be search in Perez, Meycauayan City. Recovered were a total of Six (6) sachets of suspected shahid weighing more or less 7 grams, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

In connection, also recovered from the SW’s target residence were, one (1) Improvised Cal. 22 Pistol without Trademark nor Serial Number, one (1) Long Magazine and two (2) Cal. 22 Cartridges. In relation to that, the subject of the warrant Jordan Baisa alias Undan, was already arrested by Balagtas MPS on March 23, 2022 for violation of RA 9165.

Similarly, implementation of Search Warrant by Obando PS in the residence of Albert Gloria alias Abet in Panghulo, Obando resulted in the seizure of a) One (1) Cal. 38 revolver without serial number b) Four (4) live ammunitions for Cal. 38 revolver and c) one (1) fired cartridge case. However, the above-named suspect was not in his residence during the said search but his relative who is also a resident of Panghulo, Obando, Bulacan was present during the search. The seized items were brought to the station for proper disposition.

Further, a series of anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Baliwag PS and 2nd PMFC was conducted. This resulted in the arrest of six (6) individuals who were caught in the act of operating and betting in an illegal gambling called color game in a Fun Fair/Peryahan in Tangos, Baliuag, Bulacan. While two (2) were arrested for ‘tong-its’ in Poblacion Baliwag and one (1) for ‘STL Bookies’ in Sampaloc, San Rafael, Bulacan. Confiscated were two (2) sets of color game board with wooden dice, two (2) wooden boxes, deck of playing cards, ballpens, bundle of STL papelitos and bet money in different denominations.
