BULACAN PNP ANTI-CRIME DRIVE NET 17 LAW VIOLATORS

Camp Gen Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Three drug suspects, seven wanted persons, and seven illegal gamblers were arrested by Bulacan Police in different police operations conducted on April 19 and 20, 2024.

According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, in separate buy-bust operations conducted by the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit and Malolos Police Station, three (3) drug peddlers were arrested. Confiscated during the operations were a total of five (5) plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of sixty-one thousand two hundred pesos (Php 61,200.00) and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, the tracker teams of Bocaue, San Jose del Monte, Sta. Maria, Pandi, Hagonoy, Plaridel, and Bulakan Police Station arrested seven (7) wanted persons. They were arrested for crimes of estafa, murder, theft, grave coercion, reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property, and Violation of R.A. 7610 and R.A. 9003,.

The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

On the other hand, separate anti-illegal gambling operations were conducted by San Jose del Monte, and Angat Police Station, wherein seven (7) illegal gamblers were arrested. They were caught in the act of playing an illegal coin game, Cara y Cruz. Additionally, an individual was also arrested for the act of collecting bets intended for STL without any identification card or certification from STL Franchise authorizing him to collect bets. Confiscated evidence consisted of one (1) set of playing cards, STL booklets, and bet money in different denominations.
