Bulacan farmers get 462 free range chickens

THE Provincial Government of Bulacan through its Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) distributed a total of 462 free range chicken to 66 Bulakenyo farmers during the Animal Distribution Program held in the Capitol Compound in the City of Malolos on Thursday.

Two hundred twelve of the chickens were from the DA-Regional Field Office 3 while the remaining 250 were from Governor Daniel Fernando’s own farm.

Fernando shared to the farmer-beneficiaries that the construction of the Farmer Training School is already on-going and that the Farmers Productivity Multiplier and Breeding Center is also soon-to-rise in the province.

The beneficiaries from Plaridel, Marilao, Santa Maria, Angat, City of Malolos, Bulakan, San Rafael, San Ildefonso, Obando, City of Meycauayan, Guiguinto, and Norzagaray are part of the rehabilitation program for farmers that are affected by Typhoons Fabian, Jolina, and Maring in 2021.
