CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A reckless driver was arrested for multiple offenses after a hot pursuit operation by Bulacan PNP on May 20, 2022.
PCol Charlie Cabradilla, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, said that in the joint conduct of hot pursuit operation by Balagtas PS and 1st PMFC led to the arrest of Jomar Idago, 25, resident of Pasong Bangkal, San Ildefonso, in Balubad, Bulakan for Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property (Transitory); Violation of Sec. 11 of RA 9165; and Violation of 10591 (illegal possession of ammunition).
Idago, on board platinum graphite colored KIA RIO, was being chased by police officers for hitting several vehicles and a motorcycle that started from Mac Arthur Highway, Balagtas passing different barangay that continued on until the suspect’s vehicle collided into the fence of a vacant lot at Balubad, Bulakan prompting his arrest.
Recovered during the search were five (5) sachets of suspected shabu; drug paraphernalia; (2) two cellular phones; one (1) piece live ammunition and one (1) coin purse color gray and white combination. Likewise, the vehicle used by the suspect is under the custody of Balagtas PS.
