BULACAN COPS ARRESTED 27 LAW BREAKERS

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Twenty-seven law breakers were arrested by Bulacan Police in different police operations conducted on May 2, 2024.

In reports submitted to PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, a drug-sting operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit/Provincial Intelligence Unit, Malolos CPS, Marilao, Guiguinto, Obando, and Doña Remedios Trinidad MPS resulted in the successful arrest of twelve (12) drug peddlers. Confiscated were twenty (31) sachets of suspected shabu, four (4) sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves, a Suzuki Gixer motorcycle, and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while appropriate criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, eleven (11) individuals wanted to various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, San Jose Del Monte and Baliwag CPS, Sam Rafael, San Miguel, Norzagaray, Bocaue, Plaridel, and Paombong MPS. The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.

Moreover, a 23-year-old male suspect of Sitio Tumana, Brgy. San Jose, Baliwag, Bulacan, was arrested by personnel of Hagonoy MPS for violation of R.A. 10883 (Carnapping) that transpired at Sucol, Brgy. San Sebastian, Hagonoy, Bulacan, at around 9:00 in the morning of May 2, 2024, after forcibly taking a Mio Sporty that was parked unattended in front of the residence of the victim. A follow-up investigation and operation were conducted by Hagonoy MPS, which resulted in the recovery of the stolen motorcycle at Baliwag, Bulacan, while an appropriate criminal complaint for violation of R.A. 10883 (Carnapping) is now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.

Additionally, an anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by Marilao MPS resulted in the arrest of three (3) illegal gamblers while caught in the act of playing an illegal card game (Tong-its) that transpired at around 10:00 in the evening of May 2, 2024 in Brgy. Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan. Confiscated evidence from the suspects includes one set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.
