CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A 36-year old man was arrested for possessing an approximately 73.41 grams with an estimated street value of almost P.5-million of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by SDEU of Baliwag MPS together with SOU3 and PNP DEG in Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag, Bulacan at about 6:20AM of July 22, 2022.
PCol Charlie Cabradilla, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP identified the arrested suspect as Joselito Dela Cruz alias Papengfrom Sitio Libis, Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag, Bulacan, included in PNP-PDEA Unified Watchlist.
Based from the report of PLtCol Julius Alvaro, Acting Chief of Police Baliwag Municipal Police Station, the suspect was arrested after selling a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to undercover police.
Seized pieces of evidence are eighteen (18) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu including the buy-bust item with an estimated weight of 73.41 grams and street value of four P 499,188.00 and the buy-bust money.
The suspect and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination. Criminal complaints for Violation of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act) is now being prepared for filing in court.
