THE town of Bocaue, Bulacan swept this year’s Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban as Hari Jordan Jose San Juan and Reyna Zeinah P. Al-Saaby both bagged the title during the Grand Coronation Night at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city last Saturday.
Aside from the title, Hari ng Singkaban 2022 took home the Best in Formal Wear, Mr. Photogenic, Best in Swimwear, and Smart Choice Award; while Reyna ng Singkaban 2022 also won the Ms. Photogenic Special Award.
Both the title holders were overwhelmed about their win and thanked their families, handlers, and supporters for believing in them.
Al-Saaby vowed to promote the tourism of the province while San Juan promised to continue on being an inspiration to his fellow youth.
Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban took home P25,000 each; Hari at Reyna ng Turismo, Hari at Reyna ng Sining at Kultura and Hari at Reyna ng Kasaysayan took home P10,000 each; while 1st and 2nd runners up both took home P6,000.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando thanked and congratulated all the candidates for their effort to introduce to the present generation the different traditions and celebrations of the Province of Bulacan.
“Hindi malayo na sa susunod na panahon, sa inyong hanay ang mga international kings and queens dahil nililinang ng paligsahang tulad nito ang inyong kakayahan at kumpyansang dalhin ang inyong sarili at ipahayag ang inyong tunay na saloobin,” the governor said.
He also doubled the prizes for the winners of the pageant.
Meanwhile, Bocaue Mayor Jonjon Villanueva honored the award won by Bocauenos proving that the beauty and talent of a Bocaueno truly can be proud of.
Meanwhile, Hari ng Hagonoy Almer F. De Jesus and Reyna ng Santa Maria Liza M. Gonzales were crowned Hari at Reyna ng Turismo 2022, and both won the Best in Talent and Best in Festival Costume awards.
In addition, Hari at Reyna ng Sining at Kultura 2022 were awarded to Hari ng Obando Rei Aldrich Gregorio and Reyna ng Malolos Rian Maclyn L. Dela Cruz who also went home with Best in Formal Wear and Best in Swimwear awards.
Also, Hari ng Malolos Adrian Joseph B. Arias accepted the Hari ng Kasaysayan and People’s Choice Award; while Reyna ng Pulilan Antonette Viktoria Leonardo Acosta grabbed the Reyna ng Kasaysayan and Smart Choice Award.
Other winners include Hari ng Meycauayan Keanu McGrath and Reyna ng Bulakan Jiensey Jeacann M. Arcillas for 1st runners up; Hari ng Paombong Rowel Christian Mendoza and Reyna ng San Rafael Sherenade Anne S. Gonzales for 2nd runners up; and Reyna ng Obando Jessa Louise T. Peregrina for People’s Choice Award.
