Bocaue mayor is new Bulacan LMP president

Bocaue Mayor Jonjon Vilanueva, the enew Bulacan LMP president leads the other municipal mayors who take oath to Governor Daniel Fernando held at the Governor’s Office in Bulacan Provincial Capitol in Malolos City on Monday afternoon. Among the new officers are Pulilan Mayor Maria Rosario Ochoa-Montejo elected as Vice President; Baliuag Mayor Ferdie Estrella as Treasurer; Paombong Mayor Maryanne P. Marcos as Auditor; Plaridel Mayor Jocell Aimee R. Vistan-Casaje as Secretary; Balagtas Mayor Eladio E. Gonzales Jr as P.R.O.;  Guiguinto Mayor Agatha Paula A. Cruz as Business Manager and the Chairman of the Board Members is Mayor Enrico A. Roque (Pandi).

THE new set of officers of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines(LMP) Bulacan Chapter took their oath to Governor Daniel Fernando after an earlier election of officers held at the provincial capitol on Monday.
 
The Bulacan mayors unanimously agreed and elected Mayor Eduardo J. Villanueva, Jr. of Bocaue as LMP president as well as the other officers during the election held at Casies Restaurant in Dakila, Malolos City witnessed by outgoing president Congressman Boy Cruz of 5th District and representatives from the LMP national and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bulacan.

Other officers are Pulilan Mayor Maria Rosario Ochoa-Montejo elected as Vice President; Baliuag Mayor Ferdie Estrella as Treasurer; Paombong Mayor Maryanne P. Marcos as Auditor; Plaridel Mayor Jocell Aimee R. Vistan-Casaje as Secretary; Balagtas Mayor Eladio E. Gonzales Jr as P.R.O.;  Guiguinto Mayor Agatha Paula A. Cruz as Business Manager.
 
Elected Board Members were Chairman: Mayor Enrico A. Roque (Pandi); from 1st District: Mayor Flordeliza C. Manlapaz (Hagonoy) and Mayor Vergel C. Meneses (Bulakan); 2nd District: Mayor Francis Albert G. Juan (Bustos); 3rd District: Mayor Mark Cholo Violago (San Rafael) and Mayor Fernando S. Galvez Jr. (San Ildefonso); 4th District are Mayor Leonardo D. Valeda (Obando) and Mayor Ricardo M. Silvestre (Marilao); 5th District:  Mayor Eladio E. Gonzalez, Jr. (Balagtas); 6th District:  Mayor Reynante S. Bautista (Angat) and 
Mayor Maria Elena L. Germar (Norzagaray).
 
The Council of Advisers are  Mayor Bartolome R. Ramos (Santa Maria),  Mayor Ronaldo T. Flores (DRT), Mayor Roderick Tiongson (San Miguel) and Mayor Glorime Faustino (Calumpit).
 
Mayor Villanueva is the elder brother of Senator Joel Villanueva who was chosen recently as the new chairman of the  Senate committee on rules of the Senate of the Philippines.
 
Fernando said that he will support all the activities of Bulacan LMP in his best effort for the sake of the wellness of its programs of every municipalities.
 
“Kami man po mga Bulacan mayors ay nakahandang sumuporta sa liderato at pamumuno ni Gob Fernando para sa mas progresibo at maayos na  lalawigan,” Vilanueva said.
