ARMED DRUG SUSPECT NEUTRALIZED, 8 DRUG DEALERS NABBED IN BULACAN

CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan – A drug suspect was neutralized as a result of a drug-bust operation, while eight ( 8 ) drug traffickers were apprehended as part of the Bulacan PNP’s enhanced police operations on Tuesday and early morning on Thursday.

 PCol Relly Arnedo, OIC Bulacan PPO, stated that the drug-suspect, identified as Edgar Labay, was neutralized following an armed encounter during a buy-bust operation carried out by San Ildefonso PS in Brgy. Pinaod, San Ildefonso, Bulacan at around 1:00am Wednesday.

The suspect, Labay, felt that he was dealing with undercover agents during the drug trade. He instantly ran and fired his gun at the officers, who then retaliated by bringing the suspect down.

Five (5) sachets of suspected shabu, one Cal. 45 pistol, and bust money were seized.

Meanwhile, in Brgy. Mojon, Malolos City at about 12:56 am today, Malolos City PS recovered PHP 136,000 worth of suspected shabu from the arrested drug dealer, Alvin Jingco, 46, from Tugatog, Meycauayan City, after a consummated drug transaction.

Moreover, an estimated total of PHP 101,292 worth of suspected shabu were seized by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives of CSJDM, San Ildefonso, Sta. Maria, San Rafael and Plaridel PS from the seven (7) arrested drug peddlers.

Further, manhunt operations by tracker teams from the CSJDM, Plaridel, Pandi, and Pandi PS led to the capture of four (4) wanted felons for various violations of laws.

Bulacan Police will not allow these drug personalities to spread their agenda throughout the province. The PNP continues to pursue its enhanced campaign against illegal substances and apprehend felons wanted by the law in order to bring them to justice.
