Angeles City has ranked 5th among the nine cities in the Philippines with the largest urban economies identified by the Oxford Economics Global Cities Index for 2024.
All over the world, Angeles City also ranked in the 502nd slot among the vibrant cities. Mark Britton, Director of City Services at Oxford Economics, said: “In an era defined by uncertainty, one trend remains constant: Cities are still at the forefront of economic growth.”
Angeles City, even during at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, has generated nearly P3 billion in revenue year-on-year.
It is also constantly pushing socio-economic development that benefits residents of Angeles City.

The cities are scored across five different categories — Economics, Human Capital, Quality of Life, Environment, and Governance. Angeles City has ranked 498th in Economics, 634th in Human Capital, 550th in Quality of Life, 191st in Environment, and 614th in Governance.
