Camp Gen. Alejo S Santos, Malolos City – The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) operations seized over a million worth of marijuana and arrested five drug peddlers on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Reports received by PCol. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan PPO director said that more than one million worth of marijuana were seized by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of Malolos PNP from three suspected big time illegal drug traders.
They were identified as Maribeth Melendez, Raffy Magpali and Arwin Jae Meneses who were collared around 10:00 AM on Saturday at Brgy. Sumapang Matanda, City of Malolos.
Another buy bust operation conducted by the Santa Maria police and arrested two listed street level individuals identified as Roberto Delos Santos Jr and Jerome Cruz in Brgy Magasawang Sapa, Santa Maria, Bulacan and confiscated a total of fifteen heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu.
All arrested suspects will face charges of violating Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, Bocaue police made multiple arrest on its crackdown against illegal street drag racing where 15 individuals including racers and bettors were arrested while caught on the act of Motorcycle Drag racing not wearing protective helmets and using modified mufflers along Arena Road, Brgy. Bolacan, Bocaue, Bulacan around 3:00 AM on Saturday.
All arrested suspects were charged with violations of PD 1602 and RA 4136.
