Police operation seized P630K illegal drugs in Olongapo, Bulacan

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – An anti-illegal drugs operation by police authorities in Olongapo City and Bulacan province resulted to recovery of P630K worth of suspected shabu where fourteen drug personalities were arrested on Thursday.
 
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Director BGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. said that joint operatives from different units of Olongapo City Police conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at about 12:45AM in front of Metro Subic College School, Brgy. East Bajac-Bajac that resulted in the arrest of four individuals identified as John Manlangit and Jonathan Pacaco, both from Brgy. Sta Rita;  Arnold Ponciano, resident of New Banicain, Olongapo City and Jayson Villagracia, native of Brgy. Sinabacan, Candelaria Zambales.
 
A total of 71.1 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated from the suspects with a street value of more than P487,000.00.
 
Meanwhile in Bulacan, PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP said that a series of anti-illegal drug operations carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) from the towns of Plaridel, Pandi, Bocaue, Norzagaray, Malolos, and Guiguinto police stations where ten drug personalities were apprehended. 
 
Arnedo said, recovered from the suspects possession were 19 sachets of suspected shabu worth more than P130K, one  plastic sando bag and one black bag containing dried marijuana leaves, and buy-bust money.

 

 

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violation of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
 
Hidalgo said that more anti-drug operations will be launched in the coming days as Central Luzon cops have no let-up in the war on illegal drugs.
