Most Sustainable and Liveable or MOSLIV serves as a guide to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for a global climate-neutral society by 2050.
MosLiv aimed at providing inspiration for those in key positions, or roles of influence, to advocate for responsible and earth-friendly, or green, practices.
The awardees were given honor for their exemplary accomplishments as leaders, initiatives, and organizations who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice and worked to reduce the negative impact of their business on the environment.
Other local officials who were recognized and awarded are Cabiao, Nueva Ecija Mayor Ramil Rivera who was awarded as Honorary Local Chief Executive of the Year and Cabiao as the Most Sustainable and Liveable Municipality; Panay village in Santa Marcela, Apayao, as the Most Sustainable and Liveable Barangay in the Philippines; General Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite Mayor Dennis Glean as Local Chief Executive of the Year; Mandaue City Rep. Emmarie Ouano-Dizon as Congresswoman of the Year; Tiglawigan, Capiz City Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman Melvin Derecho Er-er as Honorary Public Servant of the Year; and Calinog, Iloilo Mayor Francisco Calvo as Mayor of the Year.
