The Tarlac Provincial Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation encouraged the youth to disseminate vaccination information to their families and peers.
Tarlac Provincial SK Federation President Christine Dizon on Thursday stressed the importance of information dissemination in recovering from the pandemic.
“We advise the youth to explain to their families and friends that these vaccines are safe for us and are ways to move forward from the pandemic brought about by COVID-19,” Dizon said.
In terms of support for the new normal education, Dizon shared that some youth in the province received health and educational kits from the organization.
“Despite the challenges of the new normal, we distributed flash drives, bond papers, pens, tables, and notebooks to our youth, which they can use in their modular learning,” she said.
She assured that assistance will continue for Tarlaqueño youth especially in this situation.
During the height of the pandemic, Tarlac Provincial SK Federation also initiated community pantries to help provide daily necessities for the less fortunate families.
For her message, Dizon enjoined youth to lead in strict compliance of health protocols in spite of Tarlac province being under Alert Level 2.
“We are now at Alert Level 2 but COVID-19 is still here. So, let us serve as role models in following the health protocols for our health and safety,” she said.
