BRIAN Poe Llamanzares, FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist first nominee, has issued a passionate call for Filipinos to prioritize local products and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) during this holiday season, urging consumers to be mindful of the quality of imported goods and the growing threat of online scams.
“This Christmas, let’s make a conscious effort to shop local,” Poe said in a recent statement. “While imported goods may seem cheaper and offer more choices, we must be skeptical of their quality and consider the impact on our local economy.”

Poe encouraged Filipinos to be more discerning consumers, researching products thoroughly and considering the quality and origin of goods before making a purchase. “Let’s be more mindful of where our money goes,” he urged. “By choosing local products, we are not only supporting our fellow Filipinos but also ensuring that we are getting quality goods that are made with care and attention to detail.”
