GUN LAW OFFENDERS, DRUG PEDDLERS, WANTED PERSONS ARRESTED IN BULACAN

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — Two  gun law offenders and ten personalities were arrested in series of police operations by the Bulacan PNP on September 18 and 19, 2024.

Based on the reports submitted to PCol Satur Ediong, Officer-in-charge of the Bulacan PNP, a swift response by the authorities of Plaridel Police Station resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old male suspect at about 7:45 PM on September 18, 2024, in Brgy. Bulihan Plaridel, Bulacan. a telephone call received by the Plaridel MPS from a concerned citizen of said barangay and reported that one (1) male person allegedly fired a gun at the said place.

 

Upon receipt of the report, Patrol Members of the station responded and saw the suspect holding a gun, prompting them to make an arrest.

 

The confiscated evidence is one submachine gun caliber 45 Intratec .45 Luger TEC-KG .45 with serial number 504863 loaded with five pieces of caliber 45 ammunition.

Similarly, a search warrant was implemented by Calumpit Police Station for violation of illegal possession of firearms (RA 10591) that transpired at about 7:45 AM at Brgy. Balungao, Calumpit, Bulacan that resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old male suspect. confiscated evidence is one (1) caliber 38 revolver without serial number.

A criminal complaint for violation of R.A. 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunitions) is being prepared for filing in court against the arrested suspects.

Meanwhile, three drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria, San Jose Del Monte, and Angat City Police Station. fourteen (14) sachets of suspected shabu, and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.

On the other hand, six persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of CIDG, Meycauayan, and Bustos City Police Station. All arrested felons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
