Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – To further encourage community involvement in the fight against crime, the PNP is offering a Php 2.5 million bounty, provided by a private donor, for information that will lead to the identification and arrest of the remaining four suspects in the August 28 robbery in Balagtas, Bulacan.
The victim Emerson Magbitang, a resident of St. Francis Subdivision, Brgy. Borol 2nd, Balagtas, Bulacan is a businessman involved in trucking and pharmaceutical supplies, was targeted in the crime.
Although three suspects, later identified as members of the Bulacan police, have already been apprehended, authorities are actively pursuing their accomplices.
They are PSSg Anthony Ancheta, 48, married from Brgy. Mojon, Malolos and currently assigned in Malolos City Police Station; PMaj. Armando Reyes, 55, married, resident of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and assigned at Hagonoy Police Station and PSMS Ronnie Galion, 43, married, from Mag-asawang Sapa, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and currently assigned in Sta. Maria Police Station, all in Bulacan PPO.
PRO3 Director, PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. stressed the value of the reward system, stating, “Offering monetary rewards to private individuals who can aid in solving cases has proven to be a highly effective strategy in promoting community participation in combating security threats and criminality across the nation.”
