The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently turned over the five infrastructure projects of DPWH-Nueva Ecija First District Engineering Office in the towns of Aliaga, Carranglan, San Jose City, and Science City of Munoz.
DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, in his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that the DPWH Nueva Ecija District Engineering Office (DEO) completed the projects with combined cost of P34.55 million.
Completed in Aliaga Town is a 2-lane road measuring 555 meters in Barangay Macabucod.
“The local road project which benefits around 200-500 road users – mostly farmers – was completed last May 2024,” said Director Tolentino.
In Carranglan and San Jose City , the DPWH constructed one (1) single-storey school building each with four (4) classrooms in Carranglan Central School and Sto. Tomas Elementary School.
The DPWH also constructed two (2) single-storey school buildings that accommodate two (2) classrooms each in Pandalla Elementary School and San Andres Elementary School in the Science City of Muñoz.
All the school buildings completed have toilets, handwashing areas, corridors, gutters, and persons with disablities (PWD) ramps with handrails.
