DENR, SM City Baliwag hold ‘community pantree’

In celebration of Philippine Environment Month this June, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Community Environment and Natural Resources Office in Baliwag conducts a Community Pantree held at the ground level of SM City Baliwag on June 13-14. On this meaningful occasion, native and fruit-bearing seedlings were given to the public for free, in partnership with the City Environment and National Resources Office (CENRO), Bureau of Jaim Management and Penology BJMP-Baliwag City Jail, and SM City Baliwag. Gracing the event are DENR- CENRO Baliwag OIC, CENR Officer Mr. Dennis P. Vergara (2nd from left), CENRO City ENR Officer Mr. Edgar Luna (right), and BJMP Baliwag Warden JCInsp. Arvin C. Antonio (2nd from right), together with SM City Baliwag Mall Manager Rodora S. Tolentino (center) and Assistant Mall Manager Eugene A. Martin (left).
