Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs and the arrest of seven drug personalities, four wanted felons, and three illegal gamblers on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, different buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Rafael, Meycauayan, Malolos, and Marilao City/Police Station wherein seven drug personalities were arrested. Seized during the operations were twenty-one plastic sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, four wanted persons were arrested in different manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of the Norzagaray, Marilao, Pandi, and Meycauayan City Police Stations.
They were arrested by virtue of different warrants of arrest. These felons were identified as alias Rochelle arrested for Slight Physical Injuries in Brgy. Bigte, Norzagaray, Bulacan; alias Patrick for Attempted Homicide; alias Melisa for “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.” (RA 7610); and alias Ret for Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 (RA 9165), respectively.
On the other hand, an anti-illegal gambling operation was conducted by Balagtas Police Station that resulted in the arrest of three (3) illegal gamblers. who has been caught in the act of playing an illegal card game (tong-its). Confiscated evidence includes one (1) set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.
All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
