Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan —The Bulacan PNP conducted intensified police operations that led to the successful arrest of a gun law offender and multiple drug dealers on January 3 & 4, 2023.
In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, PD Bulacan PPO, Meycauayan City PS arrested a 53-years-old who was stopped during the conduct of checkpoint operation along Mac Arthur Highway for not wearing a helmet while riding his motorcycle. When asked for his license and vehicle papers, the officers saw a gun handle in his bag, raising concerns. A loaded Caliber .38 firearm with no serial number and three live bullets were confiscated from his possession. Appropriate complaints relative to the violation of RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearm) have been filed against the suspect.
Moreover, a series of anti-illegal drug operations yielded the arrest of fifteen (15) individuals engaged in the illegal drug trade. The Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives of Malolos City, Marilao, Bocaue, and Obando PS confiscated a total of twenty-seven (27) sachets of suspected shabu valued at Php 85,000 Standard Drug Price (SDP) and marked money.
