A cascading training on the FY 2023-2028 DPWH Performance Governance System (PGS) Strategic Planning (StratPlan) and Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) was conducted by Engr. Edgar Sarto, the Quality Management System (QMS) Core Team Leader of Bulacan 2nd DEO, along with Ms. Diana Rose Alarcon, Engr. Janet A. Sta. Ana and Engr. Joana Joy Antonio, the PGS Focal Person and Alternate Focal Person, respectively.
In response to District Engineer George DC. Santos’ directive, Engr. Sarto promptly invited representatives from each section to participate in the workshop and relay the discussions, emphasizing the vital importance of immediate dissemination of updates and adherence to the Department’s latest guidelines for the office.
During the learning session, participants were advised to familiarize themselves with the use of IPCR and OPCR based on the PGS measure profiles, as it serves as a management tool for tracking individual and district performance.
Three major outcomes were also highlighted, ensuring quality services for the people, reduced travel time, improved road network quality and safety, and the protection of lives and properties from natural disasters.
