710 arrested, 4M worth of illegal drugs seized in CL

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga –A total of 710 individuals were arrested and voluminous illegal drugs and cash bets were seized in a weeklong anti-crime drive of Central Luzon police from December 6 to December 12, 2021.
 
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) regional director PBGen. Mathew Baccay said, among the 710 arrested individuals, 209 persons have standing warrants of arrest, 36 of whom are most wanted with strings of Warrants involved in cases of Murder, Rape, and Frustrated Murder.
 
He added that 182 persons were nabbed for illegal drugs and 255 were accosted for illegal gambling while 28 individuals was apprehended for violation of special laws. 
 
A total of 496 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 656.1 grams with an estimated value of P4,454,088.88;  34 sachets of Marijuana weighing 333.57 grams amounting to P49,440.76 were seized along with the confiscation of bet money amounting to P65,614.00. 
 
“I commend the operating teams for their continuous commitment to account and arrest these wanted persons and law violators so that they could face prosecution and be made answerable for their crimes so that we could give justice to their victims,” Baccay added.
