THROUGH the combined effort of the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (PHACTO), the Provincial Health Office-Public Health (PHO-PH) and the LGBT Bulacan Federation, 600 slots were opened for members of LGBT community in Bulacan for vaccination on Thursday, November 11, at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, Capitol Compound in the City of Malolos.
PHACTO head Dr. Eliseo Dela Cruz said the registration form was posted at the Bulacan Tourism Facebook Page wherein 600 slots for Pfizer vaccines were reserved for individuals 18 years of age and above.
Qualified individuals are required to bring a valid ID, a ballpen, mask and face shield. Birth certificate, student ID or barangay (village) clearance will also serve as an alternative in the absence of a valid ID. Individuals who are pregnant or have comorbidity are required to bring medical clearance.
Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando said he believes that the province will recover soon from this pandemic through mass vaccination.
“Hindi po ako mapapagod na magpaalala sa inyong lahat na magpabakuna kung ang kapalit naman nito ay ang immunization na ninanais natin mula ng magsimula ang pandemyang ito. Hangga’t patuloy po ang pagbabakuna sa ating lalawigan, tumitibay po ang aking paniniwala na tayo ay makababalik sa normal nating mga pamumuhay,” the governor said.
