CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A total of 230 drug suspects were arrested in 160 anti-illegal drug operations conducted by Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) across Central Luzon in one week from September 13 to 19,2026.
The operations also resulted in the seizure of assorted illegal drugs with an estimated Standard Drug Price of more than P4-million.
These included approximately 552.43 grams of shabu worth P3.75 million, 1,455.93 grams of marijuana leaves valued at P174,711.24, 54.33 tablets of ecstasy worth P92,355.90.
No fatalities were recorded during the operations.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Jess B Mendez said the weeklong accomplishment shows the sustained efforts of police units in keeping illegal drugs away from communities.
“Hindi lang natin tinitingnan ang dami ng operasyon o bilang ng mga naaresto. Ang mahalaga ay nababawasan ang illegal na droga na nakakarating sa ating mga komunidad at napapanagot ang mga sangkot dito (We are not merely looking at the volume of operations or the number of arrests. What matters is reducing the amount of illegal drugs reaching our communities and holding those involved accountable),” Mendez said.
The operations are in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., particularly the sustained campaign against illegal drugs and other threats to peace and order.
For PRO3, the seizure of more than P4-million worth of illegal drugs means fewer prohibited substances reaching the streets and potentially affecting families and communities.
Mendez said police units will continue to strengthen intelligence gathering, case build-up, and coordination with communities to sustain the campaign.
“Our work continues. Every illegal drug taken off the streets is one less threat to our families and communities. This is service that is swift, honest, and truly felt.” he added.
