200 IP in Bulacan receive Christmas gift from troops

FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija  – A total of 200 members of the Indigenous Community were given early Christmas gift during the Joint Outreach Program of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) and Philippine Army  in Brgy San Isidro, San Jose, Del Monte City, Bulacan last December 10, 2022.

Personnel from the 2nd Air Reserve Center PAF in partnership with soldiers from 70th Infantry Battalion (70IB), 7th Infantry Division (7ID) distributed food packs to the community during the activity.

According to Lt. Col. Ronnel Dela Cruz, Commanding Officer of 70IB, soldiers will always support humanitarian activities that benefit the vulnerable sectors of the society.

“Palaging naka suporta ang kasundaluhan sa mga ganitong proyekto na nakatutulong sa mga kababayan natin lalo na ang mga IPs,” said Lt. Col. Dela Cruz.

Maj. Gen. Andrew Costelo, Commander of 7ID, commended the joint initiative of the 2nd Air Reserve Center and the 70IB for extending assistance to the IP community in Bulacan in time for the celebration of Christmas.
