ANOTHER prestigious award was given to Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro as “Heroes’ Legislative and Servant Leadership Excellence Award” by Asia’s Modern Hero Awards 2023.
The honor was conferred on February 17, 2023 at The Grand Ballroom, Okada Manila in Paranaque City where it was awarded to outstanding public servants and individuals from the private sector.
AMHA recognized Castro’s skill in the field of public service and as a legislator being the vice governor of Bulacan.
“Each one of us can be a hero. As long as our duties are in our hearts and we do everything right, we become heroes. Bonus na po na may mga tao tayong natutulungan o kaya naman nabibigyan ng inspirasyon because when we have inspired even one person, they will do the same to others,” said Castro.
Castro thanked the organizers of Asia’s Modern Hero Awards 2023 for the trust and the award bestowed upon him.
He said, the award will serve as his inspiration to further improve his service to his Bulakenyo compatriots.
Among the recipients of Asia’s Modern Hero of the year 2023 are Manila Times Chairman Emeritus Dante A. The Heroes’ Prominent and Empowered Journalist Leader of the Year; his son Manila Times Chairman and CEO Dante “Klink” The 2nd as Heroes’ Prominent and Iconic Chief Executive Leader of the Millennium.
Other Hero awardees were Manuel V. Pangilinan, Mayor Vico Sotto, Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, Usec. Anna Mae Lamentillo, Karen Davila, Hon. Lucy Torres-Gomez, and others.
