Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A 48-year old driver tagged as Top 7 most wanted person Regional Level was arrested by Bulacan Police during service of Warrant of Arrest on Sunday in Angat, Bulacan.
In an exceptional display of coordinated efforts, various law enforcement units under the leadership of PLtCol jacquiline Puapo, Officer-in-Charge of Bulacan PPO, executed a precisely coordinated operation resulting in the apprehension of a high-profile individual on the most-wanted list.
The wanted suspect was identified as Ricardo Magat, alias “Ricky”, residing in Sulucan, Angat. Magat ranked among the Top 7 Regional Level Most Wanted Person and the Top 5 Provincial Level Most Wanted Person.
At around 8:00 p.m. on December 3, 2023, the joint tracker teams, spearheaded by Angat PS together with the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division 3, Regional Intelligence Unit 3, 301st MC-RMFB 3, Bulacan PIU, Bulacan 1st, and 2nd PMFC, collaborated in the successful manhunt operation, culminating in the arrest of a notorious figure.
He was apprehended based on a warrant issued by the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 15, City of Malolos, Bulacan, pertaining to a violation of Section 11, Art. II of R.A. 9165, for the service of sentence.
