SWINDLERS AND LAWBREAKERS ARRESTED IN BULACAN

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Police operations conducted by the Bulacan PNP led to the apprehension of several individuals involved in unlawful activities on August 13, 2023.

Based on reports submitted to PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, the Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, immediate dragnet operations were conducted by Meycauayan City PS in Brgy. Pandayan, Meycauayan City, Bulacan, resulting in the apprehension of three (3) swindlers. The victim, an 80-year-old individual, positively identified the arrested suspects: Ely Obenque Jr (35) from Lolomboy, Bocaue; Ma. Regina Hinoguin (36) from San Jose Patag, Santa Maria; and Madel Adalia (40) from CSJDM, Bulacan. These individuals were responsible for deceiving the victim into trading a set of jewelry valued at approximately Two hundred thousand pesos (Php 200,000) for a bag of counterfeit “boodle” money. Following the arrest, the stolen jewelry was successfully recovered. Criminal complaints have been duly filed against the arrested suspects.

Meanwhile, the authorities at Republic Cement Norzagaray Bulacan Plant handed over the apprehended suspect, Eleazar Paner (29) from Brgy. Minuyan, Norzagaray, to Norzagaray PS. Paner and his accomplices were caught in the act of cutting a valuable 10-meter-long solid wire belonging to the company, estimated at about One hundred sixty-five thousand pesos (Php 165,000). While the security guard managed to apprehend Paner, his associates, Fredo Ingua and Owen Cruz, successfully evaded capture. Necessary documentation has been prepared for the filing of a criminal complaint in court.

Furthermore, in Bagumbayan, Bulakan, a drug peddler named John Lenard Burgos (24) was apprehended by Bulakan PS operatives following a successful drug buy-bust operation. The operation resulted in the confiscation of three (3) sachets of suspected shabu and the marked money used in the transaction.
