Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs, including the arrest of the Top 3 and 4 Most Wanted Persons (Regional Level), four drug personalities, and eight wanted felons on July 27 and 28, 2024.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, in Angat, Bulacan, a total of five sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of forty grams and an estimated Standard Drug Price of two hundred seventy two thousand pesos (PhP 272,000) and buy-bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by personnel of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) together with the authorities of Angat MPS that resulted in the arrest of alias Liit, 50 years old, a helper that transpired in Brgy. Niugan, Angat, Bulacan, at about 8:30 in the evening of June 27, 2024.
Meanwhile, three more drug peddlers were arrested in separate buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Obando and Baliwag City Police Station. ten (10) sachets of suspected shabu valued and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
On the other hand, tracker team of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG Bulacan), served a warrant of arrest against alias Jherwin, listed as Top 3 – MWP (Regional Level) of Police Regional Office 3, wanted for Qualified Statutory Rape issued by RTC, Branch 10, City of Malolos, Bulacan with No Bail recommended and alias Ato Listed as Top 4 – MWP (Regional Level) of Regional Office 3, for Qualified Statutory Rape issued by RTC, Branch 10, City of Malolos, Bulacan with No Bail recommended.
Moreover, eight ( 8 ) persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Bulacan 1st PMFC, Bocaue, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, Sta. Maria, Angat, Paombong, and Marilao City Police Station. All arrested felons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
