Salazar Gang boss falls in Tarlac

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A joint police operation led to the arrest of a high-value individual (HVI) identified as Juluis Salazar,  the alleged leader of the notorious Salazar Criminal Gang involved in illegal drug pushing and carnapping activities in Tarlac province 
on August 26, 2025.
The operation was carried out around 5:00PM in Brgy. Buenlag, Gerona, Tarlac, by combined elements of Gerona Municipal Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Unit-Tarlac Police Provincial Office (PIU-TPPO), Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Tarlac, Regional Special Operation Group 3-Regional Intelligence Division (RSOG3-RID), 21st Special Action Company (SAC), 2nd Special Action Battalion (SAB), PIT Tarlac, and Regional Intelligence Unit 3 by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Carnapping under RA 10883 (Criminal Case No. 17019-2025) issued by Hon. Maria Roma Flor A. Ortiz, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 63, Tarlac City, with a recommended bail of Php 300,000.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. lauded the successful operation, stressing its alignment with the directives of Acting Chief PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.
“The arrest of this high-value individual demonstrates our commitment to protecting our communities from criminal syndicates.  In line with the 9-Point Program of Acting Chief PNP,  particularly on crime prevention and effective investigation, I commend the joint efforts of our operating units for their precise execution of this mission. This should serve as a strong message—criminal elements will never evade the law, and justice will always prevail.”
