
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- In line with the 7 Focus Agenda of Acting Chief PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly the management of activities and events at all levels, and effective crowd control, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. personally inspected the Central Luzon police contingent deployed in Mendiola on Sunday, September 21, 2025, during the commemoration of the 53rd anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law.
RD Peñones Jr emphasized that the deployment of PRO3 personnel was meant to ensure peace and order while fully respecting the constitutional rights of citizens to free speech and peaceful assembly.
“Our presence here is a clear manifestation of the police force’s commitment to protect democratic rights while maintaining public safety and order,” RD Peñones Jr said.
The Regional Director underscored that PRO3 personnel have been reminded to exercise maximum tolerance and professionalism in managing the demonstration. He likewise assured the public that essential government services and normal community activities will not be disrupted.
“Central Luzon police remain vigilant and steadfast in their duty to safeguard peace, protect lives and property, and ensure that public gatherings are conducted in a safe and orderly manner,” he added.
